Syllabus split across 2 years with no vacation. Monday through Saturday, works in 2 shifts.
Electrical Wiring, Batteries & UPS, AC and DC machines – Motor, Generator, Transformer, Servicing Electrical Appliances, Power generation, distribution and transmission, Basic Electronics, Workshop calculation and science, Engineering Drawing, Employability skills.
Exam conducted by DGT (Directorate General of Training). Computer based Assessment for Theory subjects, and Direct assessment for Practical & Drawing.
Electrician, Wireman, Lineman, Technician, Repair specialist – in both Public sector and Private sector
Electricity Board (KSEB), Railways, Power Production & Transmission companies, Electrical Equipment Manufacturing firms, Refineries, Shipping corporation, Industries that use any electrical machines etc

Basic Electrical and Electronics, Power generation & distribution, Measuring devices, Transformers, Earthing, Wiring, Various systems of LT wiring, Fuse, UPS, Circuit breakers, electronic chokes, Inverter, Safety precautions.
